Cherie Aung-Khin is an antiques expert living in Thailand. She was born to Myanmar and came to Bangkok almost twenty years back. She worked in an antique shop as assistant for a long time. Then she made her own establishment in a four-storey Elephant House. Presently this is one of the best antique shops in Thailand. Cherie was Vice President of the Antique Association in Bangkok once upon a time. She has enormous knowledge about South East Asian art. She has her own factory in Myanmar where she manufactures some stylish lacquer and rattan furniture and then has them shipped all over the world. But in recent days the antique market has seen some decline. This happened because more and more people are buying cheaper pirated products now a day.
